MONT LYALL
A 45-minute drive from Chic-Chac, Mont Lyall is located on the edge of the Chics-Chocs’ wildlife reserve. Developed by Coop Accès Chic-Choc to allow skiers to ski more fluidly by especially designing undergrowth islands, its orientation and relief are perfect to retain a maximum of beautiful powder snow. Please consider an approach of approximately 45 minutes and another 45 minutes to reach the summit. Off-trail skiing involves specific risks. Before visiting the mountain, please equip yourself appropriately and make sure to get the day’s complete information provided by Centre d’Avalanche.
* Please note that Mont Lyall is not serviced by any mechanical lifts. Therefore, we suggest you venture onto the mountain in groups of at least 3 people. Also, note that the approach and ascent time is an estimate using skins. Add more time if you are using snowshoes.
